Guide to Setting Up Your Trezor Device

Setting up your Trezor device ensures your cryptocurrencies are securely stored. Follow these steps to get started:

Step 1: Unboxing and Preparation

When you receive your Trezor device, ensure the package is sealed and intact. Inside, you'll find:

• Trezor hardware wallet

• USB cable

• Recovery seed card (for backup)

Step 2: Connecting to Your Computer

1. Connect via USB: Use the provided USB cable to connect your Trezor to your computer.

2. Visit trezor.io/start: Open your web browser and go to trezor.io/start to begin setup.

Step 3: Installing Trezor Bridge (If Required)

1. Download Trezor Bridge: Follow the prompts on trezor.io/start to download and install Trezor Bridge if your device requires it.

2. Run Installation: Execute the installation file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 4: Initializing Your Trezor Device

2. Backup Your Seed: Write down the recovery seed displayed on your Trezor screen. Use the provided recovery seed card to write down each word in order.

Step 6: Completing Setup

1. Confirm Seed: Confirm your recovery seed by entering the words in the correct sequence on your Trezor device.

2. Device Name: Choose a name for your Trezor device to distinguish it if you have multiple devices.

3. Finish Setup: Follow any final prompts on trezor.io/start to complete the setup process.

Step 7: Installing Trezor Suite (Optional)

1. Visit Trezor Suite: If you want to use Trezor Suite, visit suite.trezor.io and follow the setup instructions.

2. Connect and Sync: Connect your Trezor device to Trezor Suite and follow the on-screen instructions to sync and manage your cryptocurrencies.

Step 8: Security Check

1. Verify Setup: Double-check your PIN, recovery seed, and device settings for accuracy.

2. Secure Location: Store your recovery seed in a safe place, separate from your Trezor device, to protect against loss or theft.
